Hello everyone! Ciao!
I'm another new EVS volunteer.. another italian person.. also another Martina!
You can think that I'm nothing new.. But I can surprice you!
I'm very courious.. and I want to do a lot of things in this experience: I want to discover, to know, to eat, to live, to see, to meet, to explore.. And we can do it together!
We can begin with the portuguese sweets: until now I have tasted only two sweets, but i want to enlarge soon my list ;)

Pastel de nata
Portuguese pronunciation: [pɐˈtɛɫ dɨ ˈnatɐ]
Pastel de nata, also known as Portuguese egg tarts, is a well-known Portugese delicacy.
This Portuguese classic was created by Catholic monks in a monastery in Lisbon prior to the 1800s.
Fabrica de Pasteis de Belem, a pastry shop that has been operating since 1837,
owns the original recipe of pastel de nata.
Be sure to drop by this pastry store for a taste of the original Portugese classic!
My EVS italian friends and me are very greedy... And we love this sweet! You have to taste it!

Tarte de amendoa
Portuguese pronunciation: [tˈa?.tɨ de ɐ.mẽ.dw'ˈaɫ]
The cake base is soft, sweet and dry. Combined with a moist, crunchy, caramelized topping with a strong almond flavor and a very sweet light.
About this sweet, we ate it with coffee, and we were not satisfied at all.. It was too dry, the next time we will try it with a tea.
