RATO – MAIO

Like the past few months even May has flown by.

The work in the office is busy but by now perfectly familiar and the days are becoming hotter and hotter.

On the day of my birthday we decided to take a trip to Nazarè but unfortunately it was raining and the waves were a bit disappointing. The view nevertheless was incredible.

I also had the chance of finding a couple of flights to go back home that were not too expensive (due mainly to the improbable time of day (night) they were scheduled). On my vacation I ate good food, drank good wine and most importantly spent time with my family (my grandma was truly overjoyed with my visit).

I definitely missed them and this time leaving Florence was a little less easy…

After my return, Nuno brought us volunteers to visit Sesimbra’s castle where we met with Justyna and had a coffee with the beautiful view of the cost.

Wow time really flies…We’re almost in June, the month dos Santos Populares in Portugal. Lisbon will soon start coming alive with colorful garlands and paper lanterns, while the notes of Fado and Pimba will fill the streets and the scent of grilled sardines the air.
