In the meanwhile the office has been quieter, less volunteers, less interns: we said goodbye to Simon, and also Martins ended his project.
My month of June was an emotional rollercoaster both at work and in my personal life, but it ended on a surprisingly high note with the infamous On-Arrival Training.
To be honest, I wasn’t really looking forward to it. During the entire 3-hour bus ride to Porto, I kept wondering if it was even worth going to an “on-arrival” training after having already spent several months in Portugal. Oh, how wrong I was.
The energy and the people were amazing, we had so much fun and did so many crazy things. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
But as amazing as it was, it left me with a bittersweet feeling. I only have a few weeks left, and soon I’ll have to say goodbye to all the incredible people I’ve met here. The thought is heavy, but at the same time, I feel so grateful to have experienced something so hard to leave behind.
Behind request, and since I only have a month left, let me update the list of all the things and places I wanted to visit:
LISBON
OUTSIDE LISBON:
PORTO:
NOTE: In yellow you can find the new entries on my list.
