Obidos is a pretty small city, located in a strategical spot,almost onehundreads km far away from Lisbon. This city is very famouse for its walls and you can visit its interesting sites in one day. The main entrance to Obidos has a beautiful chapel made by blue and white enamelled tiles, called "Azulejo".
The walls of Obidos enclose entirely the town and it is possible to cover the entire perimeter. From the walls you can enjoy a beautiful view and you can see all the white painted houses of the city.
Obidos is also famous for the chocolate festival!!! Every year from the last week of February to the first week of March takes place this delicious fair.
