This is quite unbelievable that I am here since….2 months! I still have 7 months of my project. I will not panic now…but still I can’t believe that it passed so quickly.
In fact during these months many things changed. I met many volunteers, saw many places, and have done many things in Rato. And I already know that some things changed me, my way of being and thinking.
For example people. Some people think that some people give you nice memories and some people give you a lesson for the future. After these 3 months I can tell you that for sure memories as well as lessons. But to get to know this you need to be with them more that couple of hours per week. For now I can only say that maybe this friendship wont last forever (who knows!) but memories for sure.
Next thing is travelling. During this project I spent most of my time with other volunteers but also had an occasion to be on my own in the middle of nowhere…because I discovered that sometimes it’s nice to lose your way, to go another way, check another place without looking at a map. It’s like in life, don’t you think? Sometimes you can lose your way, find another one or need to come back. And it’s okay, because you always can learn something which is more or less important but at least you have an experience and next time you will know better.
