Since I am here I was focused on travel a lot. During 9 months I should be able to see most things in Portugal that I wanted to see. Unfortunately it is not a good option to travel a lot now because of corona virus and I am forced to stay at home most of time (teletrabalho). During waiting for better time to travel I decided to make a check list (special thanks to my friend from Spain for idea :))
Here it is and I hope at least half of it I will be able to see during next months.
Porto – number one on my list. It is said that you can love one of two cities: Lisbon or Porto. There are always people that will say that one of them is better to visit. I fell in love in some places of Lisbon and I am coming back to them from time to time. I hope Porto will not disappoint me as well.
Algavre (Faro) – I was there two years ago during my first visit in Portugal. I hope I will have an occasion to see this city and neighborhood again.
Madera – since I remember I preferred to stay near nature then live in big cities. Madera has beautiful forests and hills I would like to see.
But these destinations are pretty far and for sure it will take more than one day to get and be there. But I have also some places that I didn´t visit near here:
Nazare – popular surfing destination because of the very high waves for sure will be perfect place for another photography project.
Alcobaca – to see Alcobaça Monastery which for sure is beautiful
Sintra and Colares – I have a plan to see Quita de Regaleira again, take a touristic tram to Colares and Praia das Maçãs.
I will come back with another posts about these places after visiting them 🙂
