Today I would like to talk to you about something I have been thinking about in the last few days, but first I want to start with how this idea came to my mind.
Few days ago, I was asked to do a new task, I had to edit a podcast, something that I had never done and the conversation was something similar to this:
And after this conversation I opened my browser and started looking for manuals, tutorials and ultimately to learn how to handle this new program. When I had been doing this for a while, I began to think about the reason for this post and that is to say that you don’t know how to do something today is not an excuse to not do it, since on the internet you can find the tools to know the basics about most things.
Nowadays it is said that you need to have a Swiss army knife profile, that is, you do not have to be the best option for any task but if you are able to respond to many different types of tasks, this makes you the best and this is something with which I am strongly agree.
This situation has made me reflect and realize that a large part of my current skills have come from some need that I have had to respond to and that I have had to seek information about them and not from the regulated education that I have received, so in this post I would like to share some of the sources from where I got this knowledge:
These have been the places where I have learned most of the things that I know today and that have helped me a lot, I hope they are helpful and until then I am going to continue learning how to edit a podcast.
