My name is Alicja. I live in Poland. One day I opened my eyes and I noticed that I am in Portugese WONDERLAND! Here I start my adventure, emasing experience with new friends in RARO-adcc organisation.
How did I get here? Hmm…
I am women after economic studies with collected some work experience in financial, currently I work as tax analyst in big company. I have beautiful home and amazing husband (He is like James Bond – handsome, strong, romantic and protective. I am lucky). I am in this part of life when you build your career, peoples expect of you to give birth to children, you tried a lot of hobbies and generaly you are happy, when you build your own serius adulthood, but in your hart you fell that you want more and more from the life… Yes. It is why I am here and I will change the world. With help from really nice employee of EFM Poland I found voluntary program in RATO. Two month later I am here. I would like to upgrade my english skills, and check myself in new environment, with new people and away from home. My mentors and colleagues from voluntary group give me a lot of energy and support… again, I am lucky that I met such people.
Before my trip I often heard that it is crazy because:
- What with your work
- What with your husband
- with covid restriction it is impossible
- It is not what you need…
But I wanted! And nothing is impossible if you believe in your awesome unique plan.
You have only one life. Do not stop your internal flow.
