Today I would like to introduce you Porto, which is located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal. The second largest metropolis in the country, after Lisbon. Besides, it is one of the oldest cities in Europe( the oldest information is dated from the V century). The city with a turbulent history that grew from a small village to the wine and culture capital of northern Portugal. Moreover, in 1996, the historic center of Porto was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Afterwards, in 2010, 2014 and 2017, Porto was voted The Best European Destination by the Best European Destinations Agency. I am not surprised at all, because this city is totally incredible. First of all, It combines residential,historical, cultural, industrial, service and tourist functions.It shows how multi-dimensional and rich Porto is when it comes to places and things to see. Nobody will be bored! The city is full of life. The best option is see on your own, because any description is pointless.
Personally, I visited it two times during one month and each time was different. Porto just has a special vibe which attracts me so much. Thanks to this impact I just started to live life to the fullest. Finally a part of me which was hidden, showed up. I think it’s really freedom when you don’t care about anything and just live the moment.
