Bem-vindo em Portugal!

Olá gente! Chamo-me Ivica, which would be Joãozinho in Portuguguese :)). I come from Macedonia and I am the new volunteer in RATO ADCC.

It is a new experience that I was waiting for for some months, and looking forward to it a lot. I am alredy here couple of days and getting to know the people in the Rato and the working atmosphere. It is a organization dealing with a lot of projects and offering a lot of trainings and I am already eagered to participate in some of them.

I am sharing my flat and also working together with a volunteer form Spain. Her name is Lara. She is a very nice girl and were having a great time discovering Lisboa and the area around Lisboa. We are enjoying the food , “os miradouros”, the sea side and meeting all the lovely portuguese people.

So, with a nice start of this journey I am looking forward to a wonderful advanture in Portugal and a great  experience in Rato.
