Computer skills – workshop

Recently I had the opportunity to lead a training session for the first time, which was aimed at Somali refugees. I conducted the first session, in total the training will consist of five such sessions, each volunteer will lead one of them.
The training workshop for refugees is an important initiative to help them gain the skills they need to build a better future. At the beginning of their journey in a new country, they face many problems. They may not have the skills they need to find a job and may not understand how to use computers or other technology. This is where workshop training can help. Training sessions can teach them how to use a computer, as well as other important topics such as job searching, CV writing and more. By providing them with the tools they need to succeed, we can help them create a better future for themselves and their families. Computer skills are essential in today’s digital world. Through the training they will be able to familiarise themselves with the computer environment. The overall aim of the training is to help them become accustomed to the computer system so that they can use its potential with confidence. By learning basic computer skills, they will be able to become more productive at work and in their leisure time. They will be able to navigate the computer quickly and easily, while still being able to take advantage of all the functions it offers.
I am very happy to have had the opportunity to conduct one of the training courses, where I was able to share my knowledge as a trainer. Thanks to the training provided, I have contributed to the support of foreigners in a new country and also enriched my experience.
