Olá guys ! Sarah here.
First of all, an important detail: the door of the office was blocked for a week so we couldn’t go to work. It was so unexpected that we didn’t know what to do with ourselves lol.
Regardless, I could still attend workshop with Nuno, so I did. The audience were woman of the Roma community. I went to this workshop twice with Nuno and everytime, I’ve been amazed because those woman went through a lot (and still are) and yet stay strong in the face of everything. I have a lot of respect for them.
Thanks to these workshops that are hosted multiples times a week, they get a chance to laugh and talk among themselves, a little away from the demanding everyday life.
Nuno adapted his posture to this groupe, I saw him seated with a low voice for the first time. He said that if he was doing the manly man, they would eat him alive. I agree and that’s so funny. On this picture, he’s standing but my point still stand x) .
With Anastas and Monya, we went to see the Little Mermaid with Halle Bailey as Ariel. It was important for me to see it because the choice of a black actress to play a book/cartoon character created such controversy that I had to give my support. No need to go into details, the only thing that really mattered is that little black and mixed girls all around the world were so happy and excited to finally have a princess AND mermaid representation. Just this is enough to not question it. I’m not a child, but I was still very happy to see this. Monya doesn’t like pictures, but she was definitly there. 😛
Season two is full of events ! Not everything can be written here, but it does feel different than before. I’m enjoying it a lot !
