Another beautiful and adventurous week has passed. Damn, I liked, enjoyed it very much.
My week started with a Portuguese language lesson with Herminia. I also got a chance to listen to students at a poetry competition. Even though I didn’t understand anything, I still can say that some of these students were very talented and it was wonderful to hear them.
I learned how to disassemble and assemble a computer, laptop and also old TV (at least I think it was TV:)). I really liked to practice disassembling and assembling these things, but Carlos gave me soldering tasks which at first I was struggling with, but after some time got the hang of it.
I also got a project from Carlos to make a USB hub box with a 3D printer. At first, of course, I had to design it on Tinkercad, which I was doing all day. The next day when we printed it out, we found out that it is too small and I have to make it bigger now. But it’s okay, because I’m just learning new things and as we all know – practice makes perfect.
On Saturday me, Mimi, Carlos and Nuno went to Palmela to workshop for youth scouts. My task was to show/teach little children to make pins. I liked it really much and I hope the kids liked it as well. They all were soooo cute.
