I’m in Portugal almost four monhts. I knew from the begining that i had to try surfing. However all the time I had excuses: weather was not good, to much wind… and others. My friend from Germany motivated me and finally in Sunday I took part in the lesson. I went to Carcavelos beach to the surfing school. The weather was not the best but I had positive attitude. When I arrived in school we dressed surfing foam and it was time for warm up. It was long and quite exhausting but it was still cold. Afterwards our instructor showed us on the beach basic of surfing and it was time to go ocean. It got warmer in the water in one second. We had oportunity to improve our skills…or unskills. Waves seemed really big and the instructor said that was one of the most difficult surfing conditions. I hope that next time will be better! From tommorow I have holidays and maybe I will use some of the time for surfing.
