Hello everyone,
I’m finally back for a new article! After three weeks in vacation in my home country and one week to finish my work I finally decided to write an article. I’m about to finish my project here so the topic today will be the top 5 of the places to visit here.
1- First of all, my favorite place was the Oceanorio. I really liked this place, maybe and probably because of my passion (et emerveilleument) for fish and the sea but also because just next to the Oceanorio there is a really beautifull park: Parque das Nações. In this park you can see the sea and also one of the bigger bridge in Europe (12 345 m): Ponte vasco da Gama.
2- The place I liked the most then was Cascais. Indeed, I went there one week ago and the thing that caught my attention the most was the diversity of the place and the view. Here you can find indian restaurant, there portuguese specialities. You can find coffee, clothes, fast food, restaurants in all these alleys and all with surrounding music. You can go and relax at the beach just as you can watch the sunset over the rocks.
3- The third place I would suggest going is Costa da Caparica. In this place you can find restaurants, cafes, small shops with cheap clothes, but first of all you can find a lot of beaches with amazing views and amazing sunset. For me it’s the perfect place to chill with your friends.
4- If you are looking for a cheap place to party with your friends in lisbon, i can recommend some places for you. First, the Pink street which is a street with a lot of bars, you have more choices than you need. This place is also close to Bairro Alto which is pretty much the same concept but people are also drinking in the street. These two places are bue fixe to meet people but definitely my favorite is LX factory. The latter is further from the center but prettier, with small and cute streets and I also think it’s safer.
5- My last remmandation for this article is just to be lost in the city. By this way you will discover more about the real portuguese life, you will see some things that you would never see by just planning everything. You will discover all the view points, streets with art or in general places all cuter than the others.
Disclaimer: Just be careful to make sure you come back. With the experiences I have had here, I can give you some advice: have money for transport or a monthly ticket, check the bus / boat / metro / tren…, have internet if you don’t do not have a card, don’t be afraid to ask people for directions, don’t be afraid to ask the driver if you are taking the right bus…
Hope this article can help you if you come to Lisbon and do not know where to start the tour. So good luck and enjoy Portuguese life.
