Há dois anos atrás, fui à Espanha com a minha família para o Natal. Esta ideia maluca (para o meu pai), funcionou por causa da minha irmã que tinha um projecto Erasmus em Sevilha e ela trabalhou arduamente na organização de tudo. Tivemos uma versão pobre de ‘wigilia’ (uma tradição polaca de comer 12 pratos ao jantar no dia 24 de Dezembro). Conseguimos fazer apenas 2 pratos simples, mas para mim foi único. Foi o primeiro Natal sem metade da minha família alargada num quarto e penso que foi uma das melhores viagens que tive.
Nunca visitei um lugar com tais vistas. Agora, estando em Portugal, posso ver algumas semelhanças entre os dois países, mas também há algumas diferenças. Há coisas que ambos os países têm, mas que parecem diferentes. Não me surpreendeu ver azulejos em Portugal, mas os padrões não são tão semelhantes como eu pensava, estão num estilo diferente.
Assim, depois de visitar o sul de Espanha, decidi que um dia voltaria, e assim o fiz. Fui lá para ter umas pequenas férias. Apesar de as férias serem supostamente para descansar, prefiro caminhar e visitar lugares bonitos.
Uma vez que já visitei o sul, desta vez fui para o norte, perto da fronteira com França. Visitei muitas pequenas cidades perto do litoral e vi muitas praias. Penso que a minha preferida foi em Begur, entre as rochas. Adorei os pores-do-sol nos miradouros e a arquitectura. Também notei diferenças entre o sul e o norte. Penso que os meus lugares favoritos na Catalunha são Palamós, Barcelona, Girona, Palafrugell(uma cidade realmente climática, especialmente à noite) e a praia em Begur.
Eu diria que foram umas férias bem passadas, diverti-me muito, visitei muitos lugares e conheci algumas pessoas novas. Gostei muito das minhas férias e consegui descansar, por isso estou pronto para continuar o meu trabalho e espero poder fazê-lo ainda melhor depois desta pausa.
Holidays
Two years ago, I went to Spain with my family for Christmas. This crazy (for my dad) idea, worked because of my sister who had an Erasmus project in Sevilla and she did really hard work with organising everything. We had a poor version of ‘wigilia’ (a Polish tradition to eat 12 dishes for dinner on 24th of December). We were able to make just 2 simple dishes, but for me it was unique. It was the first Christmas without half of my extended family in one room and I think it was one of the best trips I had.
I’ve never visited a place with such views. Now, being in Portugal I can see some similarities between two countries but there are also some differences. There are things that both countries have but they look different. I wasn’t surprised to see azulejos in Portugal but the patterns aren’t as similar as I thought, they are in a different style.
So after visiting the south of Spain, I decided I will come back someday, so I did. I went there to have a little holiday. Even though holidays are supposed to be for resting, I prefer to walk and visit beautiful places.
Since I already visited the south, this time I went to the north, close to the border with France. I visited many small towns close to the seaside and I saw many beaches. I think my favourite was in Begur, between the rocks. I loved the sunsets in viewpoints and the architecture. I also noticed differences between the south and the north. I think my favourite places in Catalonia are Palamós, Barcelona,Girona, Palafrugell(a really climatic town, especially in the evening) and the beach in Begur.
I would say it was a well spent holiday, I had a lot of fun, I visited many places and I met some new people. I enjoyed my holidays a lot and I got rest, so I am ready to continue my work and I hope after this break I can do it even better.
