After a while…

Hello buddies!

I haven’t posted for a while.

After the experience in ritual in Palmela, the continuous weeks were full with fun and boring stuff as well.

I was chosen by Carlos to go and help him to take photos in his 7 hour long workshop in professional school about 3D printing. I took a lot of photos. And also had time to practice my drawing skills.

On weekend me and Savas almost went to Costa de Caparica, but ended up in Trafaria. We saw the view from the mountain.

We also saw the abandoned waterpark. It was pretty cool.

On our way to somwhere in Trafaria we passed by some abandoned house and we got some local fruit from tree.

The next week in Carlos’ cave I was working on soldering SMD, PTH components on a PCB board. This required a lot of patience, but I got it. The same week we also rearranged Carlos’ cave.

The weather finally was like I was expecting it to be in Portugal at the begining. I really loved the sun and warmth. In all coffee breaks I wanted to sit in the sun and get the vitamin D that’s missing in Latvia.

Even though 12th of April was my free day, I spent it in Rato. Went to Carlos’ cave and was doing some things. I started to repair and clean computers.

Then from 13th to 15th April I went to Porto to meet a friend from one Erasmus project two years ago. There we walked a lot and I got my first sunburn on my face there.. hahah… We walked there a lot and saw the most famous places. Of course, a couple of times we went over Ponte Luis I bridge. We got scammed with the dish size in one restaurant where we ate rice with duck. The portion was so small that I was shocked about it.

After Porto back in Rato, I went to help Nuno in a workshop at school. Again I was taking photos and also shuffling paper sheets. After this activity out of office all week I was working with computer repair. In the middle of week I went to Lisbon and tasted the world’s best Pastel de nata. It was nice, but similar to other Pastel de nata’s I ate.

Last weekend me, Mimi and Giulia went to see Cabo da Roca – the most western point in Europe. The view was so amazing that I’ve never seen it with my eyes. The water color – so blue. We hiked down to the beach and I wanted to go swim because the day was pretty hot, but I never got into water that deep to be able to swim. The waves looked so strong for me and just by standing in water and thinking about swimming I got so cold that I didn’t swim. But I again got sunburn – this time all over my body. This also was an amazing experience.

Then two days before we left, we had a podcast. I was so nervous about this, because I don’t like to speak in front of the camera and all that makes me nervous. But I was lucky this time, because my podcast host was amazing and helped me get through it. And I am thankful for that.

That’s all now!

Bye!
