Struggling With Electronic Trash

Olá a todos!
Since I am writing long and some tiresome blog articles, people who read (or give up on reading after a few paragraph  😀 ) said mines are long. We have a new working schedule now and I had to keep it shorter to comply with the prescribed time, which is the first half of the day, around 3 hours. So, I will write shorter ones but much more in number.
So, what the title defines is that not clear and an explain is required. Since we have an electrical and electronic lab called OF1CIN4, we were in need some electronic garbage/trash in order to use the material in our trainings, or use the functioning ones to repair other gadgets from people or associations that we are collaborating or helping. But there was a problem we did not expect :/

The room full of really old computers.
You can see the stress of Dr. Carlos 🙂
The amount of material was huge and the material so outdated that we could only use for the trainings, not for taking advantage as spare parts for the repairing. Me and Prof. Dr. Carlos were knowing that we are in a trouble. Last two weeks, we were motivating each other for finishing to dismantle or disassemble the mountainous pile of the garbage. On the last Saturday I was feeling down as Carlos was, but before that I was kinda enjoying, although getting rid of the waste was giving us another headache. If it was in Turkey, I could sell them a good amount of money instead of trying getting rid of them. But here, we need to pay to call people who works in recycling business to collect them.

We carried all the stuff twice with two cars and a truck.
6 full of cars in total.
Carlos having fun in his vacation right now after the two long and disastrous weeks but we have still a lot of work to do. Nuno, Carlos and me came on our free day on Monday to carry the huge amount of the remnants of old computers’ screens while the elevator was not working. I know Doutor Carlos, it’s also my fault 😀 Separating, sorting, putting them order and storing also will give us hard times and will be time consuming. We are trying to figuring out how to get the most out of and how to make use of them. It will be harsh to do all since we have no enough and suitable space. Let’s see what we can do with all.
However, at the end of the day, we rose to the challenge. As the cover photo states, “A felicidade é uma longa jornada que se multiplica quando dividida”. So do difficulties. If you do not give your hand, the situation will not ease for some. If you want to be a part of where you are, you need to spend your precious time and get your hands dirty for good. I always believe, trust and act on this. If I am spending my precious time at this my very fruitful and critical age here or anywhere else, it must be worth it and I need to do whatever I can. There is an opinion in my country and especially in my family, “people should talk good about you after you left the place, when you are not there.” Some will remember me rude and mean because I do not show respect to whom does not respect me. However, I can not care all the opinions from everyone. At the end of the day or the time I spend to do something, if I am feeling delightful with clear conscience, nothing is matter. Even for a short and limited time, you should give all what you have. Otherwise, it is obvious that you are running away from something such as your country, your parents, your friends, your job, or you use you short term volunteering opportunity as a holiday with doing almost nothing but just sitting, spending time by talking nothing valuable or playing with you phone almost all day.
