It will be my shortest blog article. Yayyy!!
I know that the title will not make sense for many of you. I was not planning to write this blog article but I just decided to write about these two traditional Portuguese names. Why I decided to write because just few minutes ago Nuno was uttering these names to those he cannot remember their names. 🙂 He is doing this frequently and it reminds me my father. My father also forgets often instantaneously my sisters’ name while calling their name.
So, why Nuno is using Manuel and Maria is because these names are, as I stated above, very traditional and common names for males and females, consecutively. When you are referring someone male, you can just say Manuel, and Maria for a female.
I just wanted to write as this info as a fun fact 🙂
