Actually I’m in Portugal for nearly two weeks…and it begins slowly to become a structure in the days. But first I’ve to introduce myself 😉
One of the first questions people ask me if they hear my surname (Suppliet) is: “Are your parents or grandparents from France?” – Once and for all. Either my grandparents or my parents are from France! 😉 I am from Germany – sometimes it would be better to be from France because then I wouldn’t get all the Nazi-jokes from funny portugese people…but however.
Where I am from? – From a “funny”, small town called Oelde. Normally nobody know this place so it’s more or less (mais ou menus 😉 ) 2 hours far away from Cologne. I’am 19 years young and stole the idea for doing EVS from my older sister Julia. She did also EVS – not here in Portugal – but in Luxembourg. However. Beside my sister there’s also one older brother. So I am the youngest and the last who left the house of parents. I’ve just finished school and I wanted to get to know another country, language, culture, and so on…
Now I’m in Portugal – and after nearly two weeks I can say that I am really lucky with my choise. Very nice people, nice house to live, nice, funny language-training (called Rammstein-method), and I feel really comfortable to be here.
If i will ever learn the language or something like html or Linux – I will keep you uptdate on this blog.
